Lawn Installation

New Lawns

Have you ever seen a house with a beautiful lawn and wondered, Why can’t my lawn look like that? Well it can!  After a consultation and viewing of your property we can tell you what options  you have and what our recommendations are.

There are two methods of lawn installation: sod or seed.

Sod is grass and the part of the soil beneath it held together by the roots, or a piece of thin material.  By having  sod professionally installed, you’ll soon have a well-established lawn that’s naturally resistant to weeds, diseases, and pest infestations. This is the quickest method of having a beautiful lawn.

If your choice is seed,  we can begin by testing your soil. Although this is not necessary, by doing so you’ll learn what nutrients and amendments  can be added to your soil to improve it. Fall is the best time to start a new lawn from seed.  The cooler temperatures prevent the seeds from drying out, but there’s still enough sun and rain to help them germinate before going into hibernation for the winter.  When the warm weather returns, you’ll be looking at a new lawn!
